NextMontréal

The newest Montreal tech site, NextMontréal, has gone live. As their primary audience consists of local entrepreneurs and individuals interested in forming startups, the content should be of interest and offer insights to independent game developers as well. Sony Networking Mixer

As reported over at the IGDA, Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) and Export Development Canada (EDC) are hosting a networking reception at the Terrasses Bonsecours in the Old Port on Wednesday, August 25th, from 18:00-21:00. It’s a chance to network with Sony’s 3rd-party PlayStation team—as well as others in the local community—and discuss business and technical topics. It’s a great opportunity, and open to any and all developers who register, free of charge.
